Our Story
Cadre was founded in 2015 with a mission to organise manpower supply in events and ensure that students get the best experience on live gigs while being fairly compensated.
Our founder, Rafael Pereira began working on events straight out of school. Working on events throughout college, Rafael was able to put himself through law school. With Cadre he set out to make these opportunities available to as many youths as possible, to allow them to gain the kind of exposure that he received through working on-ground on events.
Working with and mentoring over 5000 youths, we realised that skill training enabled them to jump up the ranks to roles with greater responsibility like artist management and also secure jobs in prestigious companies.
Over the years, the skill gap in India has widened, with students finding increasing dissonance between what they study and the realities of the industries. Today the Pandemic has further revealed the cracks in the creative industries.
Increasingly, multi-faceted individuals who constantly adapt, upskill themselves and are inclined to self-learning have been thriving in creative fields.
At Cadre, we aim to build these competencies within individuals through a blended learning model. Through soft skills, technical training and mentorship, combined with on-ground training through events and immersive internships, students who pass through the ranks at Cadre are certified to be work-ready.
